Exploring NACHI-Fujikoshi’s wide range of bearings

With over 80 years of experience, NACHI-Fujikoshi holds a strong legacy in the manufacturing of bearings. Their strength lies in the use of superior materials, their precision driven processes and quality control to ensure product reliability. With manufacturing units in different parts of the world (including in India through NACHI India in Neemrana), the company’s wide range of products have a strong acceptability across an array of industries.

NACHI’s bearings are available in a wide range of series defined by JIS (ISO) dimension and are also made to meet specialized dimension and configuration requirements. Let’s take a look at the different type of ball and roller bearings that NACHI offers:

1. Deep Groove ball bearings

Due to its versatility, its wide availability of seal, shield and snap ring arrangements and its simple design, Deep Groove ball bearings (DBGG) are one of the most popular of all ball bearings types, even within NACHI’s product range. DGBB can sustain radial, axial or composite loads and provide high-running accuracy and high-speed operation.

Designation: 6000 Series; 6200 Series; 6300 Series; 6800 Series; 6900 Series

2. Single Row Angular Contact ball bearings

Single-row Angular Contact ball bearings are designed to sustain combined radial and axial loads simultaneously because of their contact angle. They are usually offered with two types of cages: pressed steel and machined brass. This bearing type is generally used in pairs to handle the induced load. To sustain bidirectional axial loads, paired bearings can be arranged Back-to-Back (DB), Face-to-Face (DF) or Tandem (DT). These are most commonly used in machine tool spindles.

Designation: 7000 Series; 7200 Series; 7300 Series

3. Double Row Angular Contact ball bearings

Similar to a DB combination in a single row angular contact ball bearing, these have a lower load capacity in comparison. Pressed steel cages are most commonly used for them.

Dimensions: 5200 Series; 5300 Series

4. Self-Aligning Ball Bearings

These bearings are designed to tolerate a small angular misalignment due to a mounting error or shaft deflection. Often used in conjuncture with pillow blocks, these bearings are suitable for long shafts where accurate positioning of housing bores is hard. NACHI’s self-aligning ball bearings require minimum maintenance, have excellent light load performance and can reduce noise and vibration levels.

Designation: 1200 Series; 1300 Series; 2200 Series; 2300 Series

5. Cylindrical Roller Bearings

NACHI Cylindrical Roller Bearings come in a wide range of designs and configurations and are most often used in high-speed applications. This bearing type has a large radial capacity and can be used in high-accuracy applications like milling machines, machine centers, spindle support for lathes etc.

Designation:
N,NJ,NF,NU (internal ribs/flanges)
NN,NNU (double-row bearings)

6. Tapered Roller Bearings

NACHI Tapered Roller Bearings are designed to reduce friction and heat generation, in turn increasing durability. They are most often used in pairs, with the aim to maximize combination loads from multiple directions. This makes it ideal for car wheels, agricultural machine shafts etc. where they are required them to handle large amounts of radial and axial forces simultaneously.
Designation: 30200 Series; 30300 Series; 32000 Series; 32200 Series; 32300 Series

7. Spherical Roller Bearings

NACHI’s specially constructed spherical roller bearings have an improved design that enable them to withstand high radial and impact-load capacity. Its self-aligning property makes it very useful in large machines used in paper mill equipment, rolling machines, shaker screens etc. where shaft deflection or mounting error may occur.

Designation: 21300 Series; 22200 Series; 22300 Series; 23000 Series; 23100 Series; 23200 Series; 24000 Series; 24100 Series

8. Ball Screw Support Bearings

Ball Screw Support Bearings is a precision and high ability bearing that is used for supporting the ball screws that are used as actuators of high precision and high-speed machines, precision equipment, robots etc.
